Ms. Cohen has more than two decades of experience as a litigator. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ms. Cohen graduated from Vassar College in 1986 with a B.A. in History, and then received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in N.Y., where she was an editor of the Urban Law Journal. Ms. Cohen then joined the Trade Practices and Regulatory Law department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges in N.Y., where for the next five years she gained extensive experience in the areas of trade regulation, intellectual property, antitrust and advertising law. In 1994, Ms. Cohen traded intense New York for mellow Los Angeles, and joined the litigation department of Graham & James LLP, where she remained through 2001, after that firm's merger with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey.
Ms. Cohen has vast experience litigating all phases of complex business and commercial matters. She resides in the Cheviot Hills neighborhood of West L.A. with her husband, a sales executive, and her two school-age children. When not rooting for her kids at their sports events, Ms. Cohen does extensive volunteering for their schools, as well as for Temple Isaiah and the Big Sunday organization.
